This in person workshop presented by Terry Brown, Essential Teaching Skills, Mastering the Art of Yoga Instruction, Unit 2, will be held on September 20th – 21st.  
 
The schedule for this workshop is:
Saturday, September 20th, 8:30AM – 12:30PM, and 1:30PM – 5:30PM
Sunday, September 21st, 8:30AM – 12:30PM, and 1:30PM – 3:30PM. 

The goal of this workshop is to offer tools, as well as help Yoga instructors build confidence in teaching their art. Yoga teachers should cultivate a mindful presence, a welcoming attitude, and a compassionate approach to working with students of all levels and physical challenges. Learn how to assist students in their discovery of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of Yoga.

Topics include: Skillful Yoga postures adjustments, mastering your voice and the language of Yoga, posture demonstrations, effective use of different bodies, practical sequencing skills for goal pose oriented classes, creating space for transformation, teaching inspirational classes and motivating your own practice.

This workshop is a requirement of Triad Yoga’s 300 Hour Teacher Certification Program, but is also available for all teachers that are ready to enhance their teaching skills. 14 contact hours that can be applied to Triad Yoga’s 300 Hour Certification Program or Continuing Education requirements for Yoga Alliance.

Full workshop fee: $160.00 or $140.00 if registered by September 6th.  Registration is available under “300HR TT”.

Terry Brown, E-RYT500, C-IAYT, YACEP, Certified Purna Yoga Instructor at the 2000 Hour Level, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, has studied with his teachers Aadil Palkhivala and Savitri since 1999. Terry has been a student of Yoga for over 27 years. He has a passion to continually educate himself in the study and practice of Yoga, incorporating the wisdom of his teachers and his experience into his training programs. Terry enjoys helping other Yoga instructors enhance their teaching skills to become the best possible teachers for their communities.
