The Yoga Wall Workshop, Series III, with Terry Brown, E-RYT, C-IAYT, PTA, YACEP, will be held August 27th – 28th.

This workshop will continue to build on the teachings from Series I and Series II. Attendance of these previous trainings is not required to participate in Series III.

For students of the Yoga Wall, these classes are important to help understand how the Yoga Wall can be used to take the students even deeper into their practice. This workshop will also teach some of the many of Yoga therapeutic practices and how the wall can be used for postural correction.

The workshop will continue to add more tools for Yoga instructors to expand their classroom experiences. For the students of Yoga, this practice will offer many options for home use. Or just come for the fun experience of practicing on the Yoga Wall!

Terry Brown has studied extensively with Bryan Legere, the co-founder of the Yoga Wall, and his teacher, Aadil Palkhivalla, who has inspired many of the practices on the Yoga Wall.

This workshop will be taught in person at Triad Yoga and online. For online participation, we ask that you have access to a Yoga Wall. Also, if you have a studio with a Yoga Wall and wish to have students in your space participate, please have a projector so that all students can see the teacher.

The workshop schedule:
Class 1 ~ Saturday, August 27th, 9:00AM – 12:00PM – Progressing the Backbend Practices
-The Yoga Wall is a perfect for helping students experience intermediate-like backbends in a supported way without needing to worry about an overly deep pose that the body is not ready to practice. For the intermediate student, it is helpful in finding the way to move further in these chalenging practices.

Class 2 ~ Saturday, August 27th, 1:30PM – 4:30PM – Therapeutics on the Yoga Wall
-The Great Yoga Wall can be a helpful tool in addressing therapeutics issues. Examples include creating healthy knees, helping with SI joint pain, cervical spine issues, and restorative practices. There are even practices to help a strong core affecting trunk stability and balance!

Class 3 ~ Sunday, August 28th, 9:00AM – 12:00PM – Deeper Twists
-This class will cover the category of Yoga asana twists and related practices and how the Yoga Wall can help stabilize
and move the student further in their pose.

Class 4 ~ Sunday, August 28th, 1:30PM – 4:30PM – Correcting Upper Body Posture with the Yoga Wall
-This class will address how the wall is one of the best tools to address kyphosis, and the associated tightness in the front body.
