Triad Yoga is delighted to be able to host Baxter Bell, MD, once again for this Hybrid In-Person/Zoom event!
One of the big take-aways from the receding Covid Pandemic is the importance of Self-Care practices, whether to keep the physical body in optimal shape, to support our mental-emotional well-being or to boost the spirit. Baxter is excited to share a series of new topics of value regardless of the Pandemic status!
April 14th, Friday, 6:00PM – 8:30PM ~ Balance and Longevity: The Yoga Connection:
In this workshop we will explore the growing evidence that preserving good balance increases our chances of a longer healthier life. Practice and lecture.
April 15th, Saturday, 9:30AM – 12:00PM ~ From the Ground Up: Yoga for Healthy Feet!
Baxter’s first Yoga teacher spoke of the prime importance of the feet as the foundation for all movement and stability. And the feet are sometimes neglected in our self-care. We will look at the amazing healthy foot, the problematic foot, and do a practice to keep those dogs happy!
April 15th, Saturday, 1:30PM – 4:00PM ~ Fascinating Fascia
As we learn more and more about this incredibly versatile connective tissue that is quite literally everywhere in the body. It becomes more evident that our fascia needs some TLC, just as we give to muscles, joints, and lungs in our practice. Baxter will share what we know about fascia and then lead us in a practice to address fascia as an integrated part of our well-being.
April 16th, Sunday, 9:00AM – 11:30AM – Facts and Myths about the Core
From your personal trainer to many Yoga teachers, we hear about the importance of strengthening the core of the body. But what constitutes the “core”, does it need special attention, and how does Yoga fit into this picture? Baxter will dispel some persistent myths about core strengthening and provide an updated understanding on how to apply our Yoga practices. Practice and lecture.
Zoom links will be sent the day before the scheduled workshop.
Registration is available under “Workshops”.
